5500m2 of new Cycle Way was constructed by DB Construction as part of the Colchester Cycle Town Scheme, consisting of Avon way, Salary Brook and Boadicea Way.
These three contracts were very diverse, some works on highways-Drop crossing & Repairs, some works in remote woodland and some works through parks and play areas. These are all part of the Colchester Cycle town scheme which we play a large part in delivering.
We continue to work on the scheme this in 2010-2011. The works involve constructing a 3m wide foot /cycle way. These work are meticulously planned due to the tricky locations and went exceptionally well.

The certificate shows exactly how DB Construction has off set the carbon emissions generated on the project on behalf of our client, including what type of trees have been planted and their exact GPS location.
