Quality Assurances
It is the policy of DB Construction to ensure a high level of management is dedicated to every project so as to deliver the project in accordance with the clients’ specific requirements. The nature of the company's activities places particular emphasis on experience, expertise, capability, reliability and quality.
In order to achieve this aim, an effective Quality Management System has been implemented. This Quality Management System comprises a set of formal operating procedures. All employees and sub-contractors are notified and instructed to adhere to the requirements of the Quality Management System and constantly to maintain and improve quality throughout the delivery of all projects.
Prior to each project’s commencement the Quality Management System Site File is submitted to the Site Manager. The site management will operate this plan and independent control is assured by internal and external assessment.
Executive management recognise that a complete commitment to quality is of key importance and have therefore ensured the availability of resources and information necessary to support the implementation of a Quality Management System to comply with the requirements to ISO 9001:2008.
DB Construction commits to:
- Provide high quality civil engineering works and associated civil construction process and services and to measure and minimise complaints.
- Ensure all plant and vehicles adhere to and better all regulatory standards through good working practice and measured maintenance procedure.
- Complete at least 95% of services on time and within the agreed terms of contract.
- Deliver services in a professional and courteous manner to the client and their clients and/or employees, and continually improve our training levels to enable this professional service.
- Offer improvements in products or services and from client satisfaction forms help enhance our relationships with our clients and ultimately deliver improvements.
All persons involved in the management of the firm are required to understand, implement, and maintain the firm's Quality Policy and objectives and always aim to improve it where possible. This Quality Policy Statement is endorsed and regularly reviewed by all senior management and approved and duly authorised by the Managing Director.

As a sign of our commitment to the environment DB Construction in conjunction with Carbon Earth will be presenting each of our clients who would like them with tree planting certificates, on successful project completion. The certificate shows exactly how DB Construction has off set the carbon emissions generated on the project on behalf of our client, including what type of trees have been planted and their exact GPS location.
