DB Construction was contracted by Ringway London Contracting to carry out the improvement works to the grounds of this historic Theatre in Hornchurch Essex.
Works within our contract involved the installation of a 481 square meter eye-catching curved resin bound footpath around the Theatre grounds, minor earth works to remove several earth mounds and reinstate one mound in the ground of the theatre, the installation of a new paved patio area, the installation of over 80 square meters of In-Situ Grasscrete, over 150m of service ducts, street furniture and street lighting.
DB Construction worked closely with Havering Parks who completed all the soft landscaping. A pro active approach to health and safety and efficient project management enabled seven landscaping apprentices to access the site and work with Havering Parks on this impressive project.
Emphasis was placed on the high specification and the flawless finished product required for both the Theatre and the London Borough of Having. This was certainly achieved and everyone involved with the project were impressed with the impeccable finish.
